  • Arimistane (Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione)

If you have been using pro-hormones for a while now, you might have come across Arimistane. It is found combined with many different kinds of products and is even sold as a standalone product.

    What is Arimistane?

Androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione or Arimistane, is an aromatase inhibitor (AI) and a cortisol inhibitor. What this means is that it is used to lower estrogen and cortisol levels within the body. It is especially useful ‘on cycle’, when running pro-hormones that have the ability to raise estrogen levels within the body.
It is also used in PCT to control any estrogen rebound, lower cortisol levels and increase natural testosterone.
Even though estrogen, is an important hormone within the human body, higher levels of it can have an extremely negative impact, especially if your goal is to build muscle or lose fat.

It is a metabolite of 7-Keto DHEA, not to be confused with 7-Keto, and as such, is not affected by the Designer Steroid Control Act of 2014.

What can you expect from Arimistane?

As with any compound, results are dose dependent. Some of the effects of Arimistane include:

    Lowering of estrogen levels
    Lowering of cortisol levels
    Reduced fat storage
    Increased libido
    Increased vascularity
    Drying out/hardening effect
    Improved recovery
    Increase in testosterone levels

    Dosage/Cycle Length

During cycle - 50mg-100mg daily for up to 6 weeks

Post-Cycle (PCT) - 50mg-100mg daily for up to 6 weeks

Solo - 100mg-200mg daily for up to 4 weeks

As always, start at a lower dose and work your way up.

    Side effects

Arimistane is a mild AI and as such does not have many side effects. Higher doses will of course have more side effects so make sure to stay within the normal range and always start at a lower dose, assess the effects and side effects and then work your way up.

Some of the known side effects, although rare, are:

Dry joints (due to lowering of estrogen)
Anxiety (also due to lower estrogen)
Liver issues (at very high doses)

    Where can I find Arimistane?

Right here of course! Muscle Research carries a number of products that include Arimistane. These are:

    Xabol - PCT

    PCT 350 - PCT

    Perfect PCT - PCT

Beastdrol V3 - On cycle estrogen control
