  • Frequently Asked Questions About Fat Loss: Part 2

I know you’re short on time, you’ve got that business meeting, hot date and work out to finish all in one hour. So, I’m going to answer the most commonly asked questions regarding fat loss with quick, informative answers. Let’s go.

Do I Need To Work Out To Lose Fat?

This might hurt some people, but the answer is, no. You do not need to work out to lose fat, a calorie deficit will suffice. However, working out will allow you to consume and burn more calories. If you’re sitting around all day doing nothing, you will need to be in a severe calorie deficit to lose any noticeable fat and trust me, this is just not sustainable. Workout!

Do I Need To Do Cardio To Lose Fat?

Again, the answer to this is. no. Does it help? Yes, definitely. However, if you really had to pick between doing cardio or lifting weights, I would suggest lifting weights. Why? Lifting weights helps to not just burn calories during the workout but it also helps to build muscle, which burns calories at rest. The more muscle you have the more calories you burn. Ideally, however, you want to do both for maximum results.

    Do Fat Burners Work?
Most of them are just plain garbage, nothing more than a ton of stimulants that give you jitters. However, there are some really good ones, such as, Keto Burn, that have the right ingredients in the right amount of dosage. Do remember though that no fat burner (or any supplement, pro-hormone or steroid) will help you lose fat (or gain muscle) if your diet isn’t right. If you’re eating way above your calorie limit, you’re gaining weight. Combining a good fat burner with a good diet will ensure great results.

Do I Need To Do More Reps With Lower Weights To Lose Fat?

This myth has been around for a long time and a lot of beginners still fall for it. Doing more reps at lighter weights will not help to burn more fat, in fact, it will do just the opposite. When trying to cut weight, the most important thing to do is to preserve as much muscle mass as possible while reducing the fat. If you’re working out with less weight, your muscles will lose their strength and will have little reason to hold on.
Keep progressing in your workout to hold on to as much muscle mass as possible, keep giving them a reason to grow.

Does Eating Late Make You Fat?

No. Your body doesn’t care when you eat. It will still digest the food. As long as you stick to your daily calorie limits, you can eat whenever you want. In fact, a lot of studies seem to suggest that fasting in the morning and eating later at night will have a better fat loss effect as this gives your digestive system a break which allows you to better digest your food.
